Philly Drum Project is a percussive collective dedicated to making drumming more accessible in the Philadelphia region by helping those in our area share gear, lessons, and beats in an environmnet where community, creativity, education, and diversity are valued. DrumPhest is a great opportunity for those in the Philadelphia region to come together around a passion for drums and education, meet other drummers, and learn from some of the best drummers around. Even more, it is a chance to support a very important initiative in our city; accessible music education.

Due to funding cuts, students in Philadelphia are finding it more and more difficult to access quality music education programs; in a city full of talent, we are working hard to connect experienced drummers with the youth of our city through music programs that are absolutely free for the students and provide moderate compensation and invaluable educational opportunities for teaching artists. Proceeds from DrumPhest will support our educational programming, including DrumPhil, a one-day drumset program for high school students, Re-Drum, which provides unwanted refurbished drums - and free instruction - to community centers in Philadelphia, and Beats, Brews, & Banter, a free monthly workshop for adults of all backgrounds.

To support these initiatives above and beyond this affordable ticket price, please visit our website here and become a member.  Thank you!
